WOW! Waterboys! There's a great band that didn't get enough attention. Didn't get turned on to them until Fisherman's Blues, LOVE that album.

johnny,

there's a couple of tune's from fisherman's blues that i always seem to sneak onto mixed cd's - when will we be married, and a bang on the ear & strange boat. when i was still in that place that i thought it my calling to champion band's that hadn't received their fair due (now i just focus on dead shows lol), the waterboys always sat atop the list. with songs like whole of the moon, the big music, trumpets, a pagan place and old england i might have been on to something. you can hear dylan's influence all over 'em and it works. didn't care too much for wallinger's band, world party though.

ian
